Independent Purchasing Cooperative Credit Union (hereafter referred to as “IPCCU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
respects the privacy and confidentiality of our members’
personal information. The terms “you” or “your” refers to our
members or visitors to our web site. When you trust us with your
personal information, you can be certain it will be used only in
an appropriate manner. Information communicated electronically
is safe, and is kept as secure as information obtained in person
or by mail.
The purpose of this policy statement is to explain what type of
information IPCCU collects, how it is used, and with whom or
under what circumstances it will be shared.
What Information We Collect
IPCCU may collect personal and confidential information about
you from:(1)information we receive from you on applications or
other loan and account forms;(2)information about your
transaction with us or others: and,(3)information we receive
from third parties such as credit bureaus.
How Is It Used
IPCCU collects, retains, and use your information only for specific business purposes to provide you with quality products and services, to enhance the security of your account, process your records, improve our products and services, and comply with laws and regulations.
With Whom Is It Shared
IPCCU is permitted by law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you under certain circumstances such as to third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account, to government entities in respect to subpoenas, and to credit reporting agencies. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members and former members to our affiliate and nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law.
Confidentiality and Security
IPCCU restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. IPCCU maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Visitors to IPCCU will remain anonymous. We do not collect personal identifying information about visitors to our site, except as described below.
Our servers collect standard non-identifying information about our visitors to the site, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state, and country. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage.
e-mail Communications
The Credit Union may use your e-mail address to send you important information relating to your account, to communicate with you to handle your request, and to inform you about other Credit Union products and services. Information you have provided to us will not be sold or transferred to other parties.
Disclosure of information practices with regard
to children as required by the
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
Personal information such as the name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, social security number, persistent identifier, or combination of various identifying elements, of children under the age of thirteen is not collected by IPCCU. If a child elects to send an e-mail or other electronic request to IPCCU, IPCCU may respond to that e-mail or request. However, the e-mail address of the child will be deleted and no personal information will be collected, stored or disclosed.
